In the first decade of this millennium I fell in love with improv comedy, and I met a lot of wonderful people who I still consider friends to this day. Along with some classmates from Toronto’s Second City Training Centre, I wrote and performed sketch comedy in a troupe known as Ginny Eat Something. The troupe consisted of Dean Buchanan, Crystal Koskinen, Oscar Surla, Rusa Jeremic and myself. I remember being thrilled at the opportunity to work the stage at the Rivoli, because I had seen Sean Cullen tear up that stage to my delight, and it was the stage where the Kids in the Hall had built their reputation decades earlier. Here are two sketches I wrote from that night in 2007.
